The Maryland Outfitters and Guides Association Inc. is a non-profit business
trade association representing a large majority of Maryland Outfitters and
Guides. We organized in 2005 for the purpose of leading the way for all of us
who make a living, full or part-time, on our woods or waters. The MDOGA has five
primary objectives - lobby-legislate-educate-promote-protect.
We are proud of our working relationship with the Maryland Dept. of Natural
Resources, the Maryland Legislative Sportmans Caucus and many other conservation
and outdoor groups.
Our membership is comprised of professional outfitter/guides and supporting
business individuals from around the state. Representing all regulated
huntable game species that inhabit our uplands and low lands. Our members
are the top in the Maryland Outfitting/Guiding industry. No matter what
species or area desired, by booking with an association member you are assured
the best that Maryland has to offer. They must train under a licensed Outfitter,
be approved by our Board of Directors and have a clean hunting record. They
are licensed and insured and must meet high standards of safety and
professionalism. They are committed to serving their clients while also
conserving Maryland's uplands, low lands, forests, marshes, farmland and
wildlife.
